Washburn Bathroom
A small bathroom with big ideas. This renovation began with a simple question: what if less space meant more intention? By reimagining the layout and repositioning the sink and toilet, we unlocked a flow that feels effortless, proof that curiosity beats convention every time.
White tile set with black grout creates a graphic rhythm that subtly expands the room, while a bold green accent adds character without overpowering. Matte black fixtures and a black floor bring contrast and cohesion. Replacing the shower curtain with a glass enclosure allows light to move freely, and a new privacy window balances openness with comfort.
he existing tub was refinished rather than replaced. High-efficiency fixtures reduce daily consumption. Outdated galvanized plumbing was removed in favor of healthier systems, and proper ventilation was added to improve air quality. Heated floors add a quiet layer of comfort—an everyday luxury that makes you smile on cold Minnesota mornings.
Inviting, thoughtful, and just a little unexpected, this is a bathroom that proves great design isn’t about size.
